Self-Love Meditation

Dear Self,
Find a quiet, comfortable space where you won’t be disturbed.
Sit or lie down in a relaxed position.
Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths, inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.
Take a deep breath in and exhale slowly. Feel the weight of your body being fully supported by the surface beneath you. Let your muscles soften and your body relax completely.
Place a hand over your heart. Feel its gentle rhythm, the life it gives you. As you breathe, imagine a warm, golden light expanding from your heart, filling your entire chest with warmth and love.
If any thoughts of self-criticism or doubt arise, acknowledge them gently. With your next exhale, imagine them leaving your body like a soft breeze, dissolving into the air.
Silently or aloud, repeat affirmations of self-love:
I am worthy of love and kindness.
I honor and respect myself.
I am enough exactly as I am.
I embrace my strengths and imperfections with compassion.
Feel the truth of these words sinking into your being, like seeds being planted in fertile soil.
Imagine yourself as a child—innocent, full of wonder, deserving of love. Visualize wrapping this younger version of yourself in a warm embrace, whispering kind words:
“You are loved. You are enough. You are safe.”
Now, picture yourself in the present moment, surrounded by radiant, healing light. This light represents love—your love for yourself and the love of the universe supporting you. Let it wash over you, filling you with peace and deep self-acceptance.
Take a moment to thank yourself for all you do. Acknowledge your growth, your resilience, and the love within you. Feel gratitude for your body, your mind, and your spirit.
Slowly bring your awareness back to the present moment. Wiggle your fingers and toes. When you’re ready, open your eyes, carrying this love and acceptance into your day.
Take a few minutes to journal about your experience. What emotions surfaced? What messages of love do you want to remind yourself of daily?
You are worthy. You are loved. You are enough. 💛
